How to Bay Leaves in a Spell of Ritual:

Here's a ritual you can follow to use bay leaves to protect your home from unwanted spirits:

Materials needed:

• Dried bay leaves
• White 7-day candle
• Matches or lighter
• Small fireproof dish

Instructions:

1. Choose a quiet and undisturbed space in your home to perform the ritual. Open a circle and call in your guardians and the directions if that is part of your practice. Ensure that you have all the materials at hand before you begin.

2.  Light the candle and place it on the fireproof dish. This candle represents purity and positive energy.

3. Take a few deep breaths and focus your mind on your intention to ward off any negative energy or spirits.

4. Take a few dried bay leaves and hold them in your hand. Visualize a protective energy surrounding you and your home. Imagine that the bay leaves are a shield of protection.

5. Place the bay leaves on the fireproof dish, one by one, and light them with the candle flame. As each leaf catches fire, say the following words:

"With this flame, I cast out all negativity and ward off any unwanted spirits. May my home be a sanctuary of light and love."

6. Allow the bay leaves to burn completely while you continue to focus on your intention. When the last leaf has burned out, extinguish the candle.

7. Dispose of the ashes in a natural place, like a garden or a park.

8. Repeat this ritual as needed, whenever you feel like your home needs a spiritual cleanse or protection.
