Chamomile for Good luck

Let's talk about chamomile - one of our absolute favorite healing herbs. Chamomile is like a warm hug in a cup, it's soothing, calming and just downright lovely.

When you sip on chamomile tea, it's like a wave of relaxation washes over you. It's perfect for those moments when you need to unwind and just chill out.

But chamomile isn't just good for drinking - it's also amazing for your skin! You can make a chamomile face mask or toner to help soothe and calm irritated skin. It's like a spa day in a bottle!

And if you're feeling stressed or anxious, chamomile essential oil is a game-changer. Just a few drops in a diffuser can help ease tension and promote relaxation. It's like having your own personal Zen den!

Plus, chamomile has a long history of use in magic and spirituality. It's believed to have calming and protective energies, and can be used in rituals and spells for relaxation, love, and abundance.

Our Chamomile comes in a sealable bag with a weight of 14 grams (0.5oz), and was packaged with gloves. We recommend doing a skin test to make sure you are not allergic if you plan on using Chamomile topically.

Ancient Use of Chamomile:

Ancient Egyptians considered chamomile to be a symbol of the sun and used it in their rituals related to the sun god Ra. They believed that chamomile had the power to cure diseases and promote longevity. Chamomile was also used in the embalming process to help preserve the body.

In ancient Rome, chamomile was used as a medicinal herb and was often consumed as a tea to help with digestive issues, insomnia, and anxiety. It was also used topically in poultices and salves to help with skin conditions.

In traditional German folk medicine, chamomile was considered a cure-all and was used to treat a variety of ailments, including fever, inflammation, and digestive issues. Chamomile tea was also a popular remedy for promoting relaxation and sleep.

How to Use Chamomile:

In witchcraft, chamomile is like a superhero and is often used in spells and rituals related to protection, purification, and healing. Its gentle and calming energy can help ease anxiety, stress, and emotional turmoil, like a big warm hug from a dear friend. Some witches even drink chamomile tea before a ritual or spell to help get into that calm and focused mindset.

But wait, there's more! Chamomile is also associated with the element of water and the moon. These energies are all about emotions, intuition, and healing, so chamomile is a go-to herb for emotional healing, love, and psychic development. Its soft and soothing energy is like a gentle lullaby for your soul.

This herb is like a magic wand that can attract money and good luck, especially in gambling! Feeling lucky? Add some chamomile to your lucky charm or sprinkle it on your wallet to invite abundance into your life.

And get this - chamomile flowers are sometimes used in divination and dream work. Placing chamomile under your pillow or burning chamomile incense before bed is believed to promote prophetic dreams and enhance dream recall. So, if you're looking to unlock the mysteries of your subconscious mind, chamomile is your ticket!

How to Use Chamomile in a Spell or Ritual:

Chamomile Calming Bath Ritual

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of dried chamomile flowers
  • A handful of Epsom salt
  • A few drops of lavender essential oil
  • Candle and lighter/matches
  • Bathrobe or cozy clothes to wear after the bath

Instructions:

Start by lighting a candle and setting the intention for your bath ritual. Take a few deep breaths and let go of any stress or tension you may be carrying.

While the water is running, add a cup of dried chamomile flowers and a handful of Epsom salt to your bath. These will help to infuse the water with the calming properties of chamomile and soothe your muscles.

Once the tub is filled with warm water, add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Lavender is another herb known for its calming and soothing properties, and it blends well with chamomile.

Step into the tub and take a few deep breaths, allowing the scent of the chamomile and lavender to calm your mind and body. Imagine any stress or tension melting away from your body as you sink deeper into the water.

Stay in the bath for at least 20-30 minutes, allowing the chamomile and lavender to work their magic. You can also visualize any negative or anxious energy leaving your body and being replaced with a sense of peace and tranquility.

When you're ready to get out of the tub, take your time and be gentle with yourself. Wrap yourself in a cozy robe or clothes and continue to bask in the calming energy of the herbs.

Finally, extinguish the candle and give thanks for the healing and soothing energy of the chamomile and lavender.

This chamomile calming bath ritual is a great way to relax and recharge after a long day, or to prepare yourself for a restful night's sleep. The combination of chamomile, lavender, and Epsom salt can help to calm your mind and body, and create a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere for your self-care practice
