Having different journals for different purposes is a great way to try and focus and organize your intentions. I personally have a moon journal for writing down my releases on the full moon and my manifestations on the new moon. I also have a journal for meditations and journey work, one for shadow work, and one for gratitude. Keeping all of these helps me make journaling a regular practice in all of my rituals!
Meditate, even for 5 minutes
Meditation is a practice of quieting the mind and focusing your attention inward. It can help you reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and connect with your inner self. You don't have to meditate for hours to experience the benefits. Even five minutes of meditation a day can be beneficial. People think that they can't succeed, or that meditation requires clearing the mind. Neither of these are true! The best advice I can give about meditation is to sit comfortably, close your eyes and focus on your breath. Breath deeply, in and out. Feel the air in your nostrils, in your lungs, and in your mouth. Each time you are wandering in your mind, remind yourself to refocus inward towards your breath. This helps you get into the habit of feeling within.
