Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) is a flowering plant that is a member of the pea family. The leaves of the alfalfa plant have been used for centuries as a medicinal herb and a food source for both humans and animals.
In Native American tradition, alfalfa is considered a sacred plant that can be used to purify and protect the home. The leaves were often burned as a smudge to cleanse negative energy and promote healing. It was also believed that carrying alfalfa in a medicine bag could provide protection and bring good luck.
In European folklore, it was believed that carrying a sprig of alfalfa could bring good luck and ward off evil spirits. In some traditions, it was also believed that if you placed alfalfa leaves under your pillow, you would have prophetic dreams.
In modern New Age spirituality, alfalfa is believed to have spiritual and energetic properties. It is often used in herbal remedies and spiritual practices to promote vitality, balance, and inner peace.
Our Alfalfa Leaf comes in a sealable 3"x4" bag with a weight of 12 grams (0.45oz), and was packaged with gloves. We recommend doing a skin test to make sure you are not allergic if you plan on using Alfalfa topically.

How to Use Alfalfa Leaf in a Spell or Ritual:
To make a money incense, you will need a mortar and pestle and money herbs. First you're going to set your intention and I like to blow my intention into my mortar, or you can do a visualization. Herbs for money include Alfalfa leaf, Cinnamon, Basil, Peppermint, Clove, or Nutmeg. Add Ginger to speed it up! Grind it all up in your mortar and pestle. Grind in circles clockwise to bring it in, counterclockwise (moonwise) to release or protect. In this case, we want to bring it all in so we will grind it up clockwise. Once it's a consistency you're happy with, you can add essential oils or ritual oils like Rich Bitch Oil, Commanding Oil, or maybe even Love Drawing Oil if you want to bring in a lover with money. Add this to a charcoal disk to burn, or sprinkle the mixture onto candles or around door ways. Pair this with our Rich Bitch Spray or our Abundance Spell. Companion crystals would be green aventurine, tiger's eye, jade, amethyst, amazonite, citrine, rutilated quartz, green calcite or moss agate.
Herbs can be used to make sachets, incense mixtures, bath teas and more! Make sure you do your research before using any herb to make sure they are safe for the purpose you intend. We are not responsible for what you do with your herbs once they are in your hands.
All our herbs are organic and have been cleansed energetically.
