Place the candle in the holder and light it. Place the cauldron or fireproof dish on the ground in front of you. Hold the piece of dried bladderwrack in your hand and take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes and visualize the energy of the bladderwrack flowing into your body. Imagine that you are connecting with the energy of the sea, which is said to enhance psychic ability. Use the lighter or matches to light the sand or soil in the cauldron. As the flames start to rise, imagine that they are representing the fire of your intuition and psychic ability. Call upon the four elements (earth, air, fire, and water) to be present in the ritual. You might say something like, "I call upon the elements of earth, air, fire, and water to be present with me now and assist me in enhancing my third eye." With the bladderwrack still in your hand, place it on your third eye (between the eyebrows). Focus your attention on this area and visualize it opening and expanding. Recite the spell three times, "With bladderwrack and fire's light, I open my third eye's sight. Guided by intuition true, I trust the visions that come through. So mote it be." After the spell, take a few deep breaths and ground yourself. Extinguish the candle and the cauldron. Thank the elements and any spirits or guides that were present in the ritual and release them.
