Cardamom Pods

Cardamom is believed to have metaphysical properties that enhance spiritual awareness and intuition. It is associated with the element of fire and is believed to be a powerful tool for those seeking spiritual growth and enlightenment.

When used in spiritual practices, Cardamom is believed to help open the third eye chakra, allowing for a deeper connection with the divine. It is also believed to aid in meditation and enhance psychic abilities.

Our cardamom pods comes in a sealable bag with a weight of 10 grams (0.37oz) and was packaged with gloves. We recommend doing a skin test to make sure you are not allergic if you plan on using cardamom topically.

Ancient use of Cardamom:

In ancient Egypt, cardamom was used as a perfume and incense, as well as in cooking. The Egyptians believed that cardamom had aphrodisiac properties and used it in love potions. The Ebers Papyrus of Egypt chronicles the use of this in medicine, embalming,  and magical practices at least 3600 years ago. In ancient Greece and Rome, cardamom was used as a perfume and as a cooking spice. The Romans also used it as a digestive aid and as a breath freshener. In ancient India, cardamom was used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat a variety of ailments, including digestive issues, respiratory problems, and infections. Cardamom is “tridoshic,” it helps balance all three doshas; vata, pitta, and kapha. It especially balances kapha, which governs the structure of the body and protects it. It was also used as a cooking spice in India and was believed to have aphrodisiac properties. It was used by Hindus in ceremonies to pay respect to the recently deceased. In the Middle Ages, cardamom was traded along the Silk Road and was highly valued as a medicinal and culinary spice. It was also used in perfumes and as a digestive aid. The Vikings found Cardamom in Constantinople and on caravan routes in the middle ages and brought it back to Scandinavia.

How to use Cardamom:

Cardamom is thought to bring clarity, focus, and purpose. It allows the spiritual to be connected with the physical and is thought to be a fragrance of the angels. Using cardamom can help enhance one's spiritual path and open one up for their spiritual awakening. It brings comfort and security, insight, wisdom, and excitement. Use in a sachet for love spells, or chew on a cardamom seed before seeing your love interest. Cardamom can be used in spells or rituals for prosperity and abundance. The seeds can be placed in a prosperity altar or charm bag, or used in a money-drawing spell. To ward off negative energy and entities, the seeds can be burned as incense or placed in a protective charm bag.

How to use Cardamom in a ritual or spell:

Cardamom Love Spell

Ingredients:

• 1 pink candle
• A small piece of paper
• A pen or pencil
• Cardamom seeds
• A small pouch or sachet

Begin by lighting the pink candle and setting it on your altar or a safe surface.

Take the small piece of paper and write down your desire for love or attraction. Be specific and write down exactly what you want.

Hold the paper in your hand and sprinkle a few cardamom seeds on it.

Fold the paper and place it in the small pouch or sachet.

Hold the pouch or sachet in both hands and say the following spell:

"With the power of cardamom, I call upon love and attraction to come to me. May this spell bring me the love I desire, and may it be for the greater good of all. So mote it be."

Place the pouch or sachet in a safe and secure location, such as under your pillow or in a special place on your altar.

Allow the candle to burn down completely, and dispose of the remnants safely.
